Brother Lou is a singer and songwriter living in Vienna, Virginia.  He has played in bands in New York, Philadelphia, Atlanta and Miami. He currently records and plays in the D.C. area. His song 'Tonight' was nominated as a finalist in the 'Song of the Year' contest, sponsored by VH1 and his song "Hey Jesus" won the honor award in the folk/acoustic category of the 9th annual 'Great American Song Contest.'  Two of his songs are featured in the award winning documentary "Anytown, USA" which is available on Netflix. 


American Songwriter has chosen 'Nothing in the Sky' as an Honorable Mention in their lyric contest for thethe July/August edition.
